Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

1. The Service

TubeCookbook ("the Service") uses AI to convert publicly available YouTube cooking videos into structured recipes (ingredients, steps, and tips), translated into your chosen language. The Service is operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

3. Credits & Payments

Features that call the AI use credits: one analysis normally uses 1 credit (videos longer than 30 minutes use 2, shown before you are charged). Viewing saved recipes, cook mode, the shopping checklist, and writing recipes by hand are free. Purchased credits do not expire. All payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles billing, taxes, and receipts. Prices are shown at checkout.

4. Refunds

If an analysis fails to produce a recipe, the credit is refunded automatically. Because credits are digital goods consumed on use, used credits are non-refundable. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase by contacting us in the app. Billing disputes are handled together with Lemon Squeezy.

5. Acceptable Use

Submit only links you have the right to analyze. Do not abuse, automate, scrape, overload, or resell the Service, and do not use it for unlawful content.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Source videos and their content belong to their original creators. The Service extracts and translates information for your personal, non-commercial use and credits and links the original video. Recipes (lists of ingredients and steps) are factual information. You are responsible for how you use the recipes you generate.

7. Disclaimer

Recipes are generated by AI and may be incomplete or contain errors. Always verify ingredients, quantities, allergens, and food-safety steps before cooking. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes & Termination

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Service or these terms at any time; material changes will be reflected on this page. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
