About TubeCookbook
What this is
YouTube is full of great cooking, but pausing and rewinding a video mid-cook is miserable. The TubeCookbook desk watches cooking videos from around the world and writes them up as usable recipes — ingredients, amounts, steps — with serving scaling, a step-by-step cook mode (timers, read-aloud), shopping lists and translations into 11 languages.
Editorial principles
- Every recipe starts as an AI analysis of the video and is reviewed and edited by the desk before publishing.
- We do not invent content that isn't in the video. Desk-added notes (verifications, substitutions, pitfalls) are marked as such.
- Every recipe credits the original creator and links to the source video.
- We never copy or re-host the videos themselves — pages embed the official YouTube player.
- Spot an error? Tell us in the comments or by email and we'll fix it.
Copyright & takedown
Recipe texts are written by us from watching the videos, always with credit and a link. Still, if you are the original creator and want a page based on your video changed or removed, email us the video link — we act within 48 business hours.
