This is Sung Si-kyung's recipe for a simple Nurungji Dakbaeksuk, made without a stove using an electric rice cooker. By adding glutinous rice, chicken, and various ingredients to the rice cooker, a delicious baeksuk is completed.

- Glutinous Rice1 cup
- Chicken500g (e.g., chicken thighs, wings)
- Green Onion100g
- Whole Garlic Clovesa handful
- Samgyetang Ingredient Pack1 pack
- Salt2 pinches
- Black Pepper1/2 teaspoon
- soup soy sauce1/2 teaspoon
- Water500ml

Directions
- Add 1 cup of glutinous rice to the electric rice cooker.
- Place 500g of chicken on top of the glutinous rice.
- Place 100g of green onion on top of the chicken.
- Add a handful of whole garlic cloves.
- Add 1 Samgyetang ingredient pack.
- Add 2 pinches of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of soup soy sauce.
- Pour in 500ml of water.
- Close the electric rice cooker and cook for 75 minutes.
- Once cooking is complete, open the rice cooker and remove the green onion.
- Nicely plate the finished Nurungji Baeksuk in a bowl.
Tips
- Adding a Samgyetang ingredient pack makes it even more delicious.
