  • seaweed for gimbap1.5 sheets

Directions

  1. In warm cooked rice, add toasted sesame oil, sesame seeds, and salt, and mix well.
  2. Julienne 1 cucumber and set aside.
  3. Completely drain the oil from the tuna can.
  4. To the drained tuna, add mayonnaise, salt, sugar, black pepper, and a little wasabi, and mix well.
  5. Place 1 sheet of seaweed for gimbap on a bamboo mat, and spread 70g of cooked rice thinly over about two-thirds of the seaweed.
  6. To roll the gimbap neatly, moisten half a sheet of seaweed with water and extend it over the rice.
  7. On top of the rice, place the seasoned tuna, and then the julienned cucumber.
  8. Roll the gimbap tightly.
  9. Slice into bite-sized pieces.

Tips

  • Completely drain the oil from the tuna can.
  • To roll the gimbap neatly, it's good to moisten half a sheet of seaweed with water and extend it over the rice.
