Directions

  1. Slice the onion thinly.
  2. Slice the green onion and Cheongyang chili peppers diagonally.
  3. Mince the garlic.
  4. Cut the cabbage into large pieces.
  5. Cut the fish cakes into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Season the pork with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of black pepper.
  7. Heat cooking oil in a pan, then add the green onion, minced garlic, and Cheongyang chili peppers and stir-fry until fragrant.
  8. Add the seasoned pork and stir-fry until fully cooked.
  9. Add the onion and cabbage and stir-fry together.
  10. Add the fish cakes and continue to stir-fry.
  11. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes), and 1/2 cup of water, then stir-fry until the sauce is well absorbed.
  12. Blanch the noodles briefly in boiling water and set aside.
  13. Add the blanched noodles to the pan and stir-fry until well mixed with the sauce.
  14. Add 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil and a desired amount of sesame seeds, then stir-fry once more to finish.
  15. Serve the finished stir-fried noodles attractively in a bowl.
