Directions
- Add 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, half a tablespoon sugar, half a tablespoon gochugaru, and 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil to a bowl and mix well to make the sauce.
- Slice the garlic.
- Julienne half an onion.
- Slice the green onion diagonally.
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Once the water boils, add the udon noodles and boil for about 30 seconds. Then turn off the heat, drain, and set aside.
- Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a frying pan, add the sliced garlic, and stir-fry lightly over medium-low heat.
- Add the julienned onion, diagonally sliced green onion, and carrot, and stir-fry together.
- Add the cabbage and the pre-made sauce, and stir-fry quickly.
- Add the boiled udon noodles and stir-fry for about 2 more minutes.
- Turn off the heat, sprinkle a few dashes of black pepper, and finish.
- Serve the finished stir-fried udon with mayonnaise drizzled on top, as desired.
