- plum extract1 tablespoon
- mirin2 tablespoons
- water5 tablespoons
- gochugaru4 tablespoons
- sesame seeds1 tablespoon

Directions
- Thoroughly wash the perilla leaves, one by one, in water.
- Trim the stems off the washed perilla leaves.
- Thinly slice 1/4 onion, 2 red chili peppers, 1 stalk green onion, and 1 piece carrot.
- In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced vegetables with 5 tablespoons soy sauce, 3 tablespoons sand lance fish sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1.5 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon plum extract, 2 tablespoons mirin, 5 tablespoons water, 4 tablespoons gochugaru, and 1 tablespoon sesame seeds. Mix well to make the seasoning sauce.
- Spread the seasoning sauce evenly on each perilla leaf.
