Directions
- Prepare 1 large onion or 3 small onions.
- Cut off the root end of the onion.
- Slice the onion thickly.
- Add the sliced onion to hot water and boil.
- Boil, stirring occasionally, until the onion develops a subtle color and the pungent smell disappears.
- Transfer the boiled onion to cold water to cool.
